《獨眼巨人博士》是由知名导演Ernest B. Schoedsack 执导的一部科幻片，阿爾伯特·德科 Thomas Coley Jani 等倾情出演，该片讲述了：　　"   ;Dr. Cyclops" i s known as one of the better "early sci-fi&q uot; films, made in '39 and relea sed in 1940. (It is also in color.) But  while the story has po tenti  al a nd there are some good moments, this is a very confu sed f ilm. 　　The plot is simple - crazy mad scientist on some remot  e island can shrink a nimals, and wa nts to try it on humans. He manages this on a scientific  team that came to chec k thing s out.  They get an gry, and the cra zy s  cientist eventually  gets really angry because  his new shru nken subjec  ts won&# 39;t cooperate.　　 The thing is, the film   doesn 9;t seem to  know if i t wan ts to be  a thrille r, or a g oofy movie.  Dr. Cyclops   (never calle d tha t but refer enced to a  Cyclops after one lens in his gla sses  bre aks) looks cool in h is &qu ot;30's style sci-f  i helmet"; as  he pe rforms experiments and can be chil ling a t times. But  there is s o mu ch "Dis ney-style goofy music" going  on that it  is hard to take any thing  seriously. The music belongs in a family  comedy for the most  part, and  is played  when the shru nken people  do th ings like try to surviv e, and creep around the fl oor. Add t hat a f  ew of them  have pr etty grue some de  aths  and that ju st adds to  the con fusing at mosphere.　　The  FX aren' ;t so bad but nothing spe cial . The giant sets b  uilt are pr etty  impress ive though. There is a sce ne where little  fires are  toss ed at a real  crocodile's he ad which pr obably  made animal a ctivists an gry.　　It also takes a long t ime f or anything to reall y happ en. This movie could ha ve been don e in a nice tig ht half-hour. Go od for a viewing, but you probabl y won9;t watch a  gain. The perf ormance o f the  guy who p lays Dr . Cyclops is definitely the main attr action.　　按规矩，两人  每收一个人的好处，就要 往外掏点货，偏偏他们是一 个一个飞升的，总不好意思  把说过的消息，再给他们来一遍，没办法下，待到文遥飞升，人家又给他们摆了一席， 两人把该说的都说了，只能  跟他们八卦纯阳宗宗主被人伏杀的事了。
