Myrna Loy was a fantastic Nora, the ide al wife and considering she made 14 mov ies wit h William Po well, she made it look like they were really married. The Thin M an movies , all six of them, played more like sophisti cated screwball comedi es tha n murd er mysteries, and their com ic banter enhanc ed the proceeding s. Their litt le wire-haired terrier, A sta, quite often stole the scene as he helped sleuth out the guilty party. He was a great l ittle actor and rumor had it that aw ay fro m the Thin Man movies, A sta was really Skippy.
